Essential terms every online gaming player should understand. Master the language of betting to make informed decisions.
The theoretical percentage of wagered money a game returns to players over time. For example, 96% RTP means the game returns Rp 96 for every Rp 100 wagered on average over millions of spins.
The mathematical advantage the casino has over players, expressed as a percentage. The inverse of RTP. A 4% house edge means the casino expects to keep Rp 4 of every Rp 100 wagered long-term.
The amount of money you bet on a single game round, spin, or sporting event. Managing your wager size relative to bankroll is fundamental to responsible gaming.
The probability of an outcome expressed in numerical format. Decimal odds (e.g., 2.50) show total return including stake. Lower odds mean higher probability but smaller returns.
A betting market that gives one team a virtual head start or deficit to level the playing field. Asian Handicap (voor bola) is extremely popular in Indonesian football betting.
A single bet combining multiple selections where all must win for payout. Called mix parlay in Indonesian betting culture. Offers higher returns but increased risk.
Placing wagers after an event has started, with odds updating in real-time based on the action. Requires quick decision-making and game knowledge.
Option to settle a bet before the event concludes, securing a profit or minimizing loss. The cashout value fluctuates based on current likelihood of winning.
The total amount of money you have set aside specifically for gambling. Proper bankroll management means never wagering more than 1-5% on a single bet.
Measure of risk and payout frequency in slots. High volatility means infrequent but large wins. Low volatility offers more frequent but smaller payouts. Choose based on your risk tolerance.
A slot game round that costs nothing to play but awards real winnings. Often awarded as bonuses or triggered within games as bonus features.
The number of times you must bet a bonus amount before you can withdraw winnings. A Rp 100,000 bonus with 30x wagering requires Rp 3,000,000 in total bets before withdrawal.
